LOCAL AVALANCHE COURSES FOR 2019
Level-1 Avalanche, Modules 1 (classroom sessions) and 2 (field sessions):
Open to ski patrollers, UW students, and UW employees
Classroom sessions: 6-10 pm Tue 5 Feb, Thu 7 Feb, and Thu 14 Feb
Field sessions: Sat 9 Feb (Snowy Range) and Sat 16 Feb (Cameron Pass)

Registration starts Mon 28 Jan at the UW Outdoor Program, Half Acre Gym, Laramie

Level-1 Avalanche, Module 3 (group and organized rescue):
Prerequisites:
- Completion of Modules 1 and 2
- Completion of the free, online FEMA course IS-700.A, “National Emergency Management System (NIMS): An Introduction”
You must complete the prerequisites before taking the course.
This course is strongly recommended for ski patrollers
