Snow Stake Data: 20 inches and melting.

Ski Location: Skied up the telephone lines from Green Rock Picnic Area to
Mountain Meadow road. About 30 snow mobiles passed within a short period
of time; had wished at this point that we had skied up in the trees. Tim
Gilbert accompanied me on the trip. Sunny weather, no wind; fabulous day.

Skied up Mountain Meadow road awhile then cut south across the highway to
Sally Creek. Ended up at tele hill. The snow and quiet in the trees was
delightful after skiing amongst the bubble heads. About 4 inches of fresh
snow in the trees and on Sally Creek Trail which had not yet been broken.

Tried a few turns on tele hill; snow was a little punchy.

Ended the day early, about 12:30. Stopped at the Visitor information
center and visited with Lisa Marnot. Said she could call me at the shop
if necessary.
