Medicine Bow Nordic Ski Patrol
Patrol Log:  Sunday, April 9, 2000:  B. Bloom
I skied the upper portion of the Libby Creek loop to the Women's Downhill.  I
did not dig a pit.  The temp was approximately 53 deg F.  The snow/slush was
very solid.  I then skied down to the lower 1/2 of the loop.  The trail has
obviously been used by snowmobilers, but not recently.  The trail was soft
most of the way.  The snow pack is down to 40" at the marker.  I would
caution anyone doing the loop early before the snow warms up.  It will be
very slick.

At 9:20 AM, there were 43 snowmobile vehicles and 3 skier vehicles.
Approximately 20 were beyond the turn around.

At 1:10 PM, there were 22 snowmobile and 3 ski vehicles beyond the turn
around.  There were 31 snowmobile & 2 skier vehicles from the turn around to
the Barber Lake Rd.  There was 1 snowmobile vehicle at the parking pad in the
morning & the afternoon.
