Summary of Day:
Skied Upper Libby Creek Trail to Bear Lake.  Temperature
18 F (-8C) with winds of 10 to 20 mph.  Snowstake at 14 inches.
Met 5 snowshoers doing Upper Libby Creek Trail.  Skiing was
good on the trail, but little to no base off the trail.

   Location: UTM 0396935; 4576813 (NE of junction of Old and new
                     Libby Creek Trails)
   Elevation:  10,280 ft (3,133 m)
   Aspect:  SW in sparse forest
   Slope:  35 degrees
   Conditions: clear, windy (10 to 20 mph), air temperature 18 F (-8 C)
   Snow Pit Characteristics :
       0 to 17 cm: Fist hardness, 1 mm stellar partially welded crystals

       10 cm temperature �5 C
       17 cm ice layer
       17 to 30 cm: 4 finger hardness, 0.5 mm welded spatial dendrites
       20 cm temperature �4 C
       40 to 47 cm:  1 mm hexagonal welded capped columns
       Total snow depth 47 cm (18.5 in)
