I snowshoed the Potholes Trail.  There were bare spots at the 1st two open areas.
I did not dig a snow pit.  There is a space of no snow one foot beneath the surface.
Stepping on the unpacked snow, I got the "Whomp" sound.  It snowed about 3 inches 
while I was up there.  There were no vehicles parked in the Corner Mt or Libby 
Creek parking lots.  I counted 75 vehicles with trailers from the Barber Lake 
parking lot up to the Snowy Mountain Lodge and 11 without.
