Medicine Bow Nordic Ski Patrol
Patrol Log:  Sunday, April 9, 2006:  T. Thibodeau
I arrived at the Green Rock trail head about 9:30 AM. I skied with Joey Jlien
up the Potholes trail to Brooklyn Lake, followed Glacier Creek up to
Glacier Lakes and then yo-yo skied an east facing bowl above the North
Fork of the Little Laramie River. We then followed the Sheep Lake Road
to the Brooklyn Lake Road and the Snowy Range Road back to the Green Rock
Trail Head. In the morning the temperature was in the low 40 with partly
cloudy skies. In the early afternoon the skies cleared and the temperature
increase to the high 40s.

At 10:00 AM, there were no vehicles at Corner Mountain or Little Laramie
trailheads. There were three vehicles between the cattle guard and Green
Rock parking area. There were two vehicles in the skier parking lot and
11 vehicles between there and the Snowy Mountain Lodge. We did not encounter
any other people skiing. We did not dig a snow pit.
