Patrollers: Sandi Pounder, Johannah Monchecci, Josef Pohl
Date: January 21, 2007
Companions: Pepper the snow dog, Aldo the blunder dog
Conditions: Mid teens, blowing snow, snowing

Arrived at the Green Rock trail head at 10 AM Sunday with Sandi.  Johannah arrived a few minutes later. (Driving from Fort Collins.)
Took vehicle count on the way up.  See below.

Proceeded up, with the intention of skiing the Sally Creek drainage.  Took a wrong turn (on purpose?) some time before the cabins.  Skied up  to a ridgeline following some old tracks.  Ended up in a drainage below Swastika lake.  Skied up to Swastika lake, ate lunch.  Made a quick return to the Green Rock trail head via drainage.  Checked out snow stake at the top of libby creek trail. (36 inches)  Called it a day, in order to have a "leisurely" drive back to Laramie and Fort Collins.  Left trail head at approximately 2PM.

Parking lot had been well plowed, most likely due to SAR the previous days.
Ran into: 7 skiers.
(5 in parking lot)
2 snowmachiners asking for directions.
