Medicine Bow Nordic Ski Patrol
Patrol Log:  Thursday - Saturday, January 1-3, 2009:  M. Daly

The dog and I had a great break, although a break from the wind and more snow would have been welcomed.

<>On the 1st we skied from our cabin up Barber Lake Rd to the old dump.  Then came back down via the trees to the Willow Campground and on back over to the Headquarter trail and back to the cabin.

Whilst on Barber Lake rd we ran in to 7 skiers and 2 more dogs.  It was cold and windy with very hard crust on top of snowmobile hard pack.

On the 2nd we skied to headquarters then crossed the road south and traversed up to what some locals call Mustache or Indicator (it’s the small peak to the left of the road as you cross the cattle guard in to the forest.

On the 3rd I was hill Chief  at SRSA.
