Weather: No or little wind, cloudy and snowing. Temperature at Noon, 25 degrees F.
Comments: Skied Libby Creek trail (parts of upper and lower trail). Purple wax worked well. Kevin joined us for the morning. Road was still open past Green Rock Picnic Ground. At end of patrol day, Henry and I saw two snowmobilers driving on plowed road and on cross country ski trail near Green Rock.

Lower Barber Lake: 2 Corner Mtn: 2 Little Laramie: 2 Sand Lake: 1 Parking Lot: 3 snowmobiles; 1 car End of Road:35 vehicles; 3 cars Car Count:At 3:45 pm Lower Barber Lake: 0 Corner Mtn: 3 Little Laramie: 0 Sand Lake: 0 Parking Lot: End of Road: 22 vehicles SNOW DATA Snow stake at 19 inches Slope: 20 degrees Aspect: NW Elevation: 9880 feet (estimated from watch) Location: UTM coordinates- 398486, 4577407 TR Location: NE1/4, Sec.24, T16N R79W Vegetation: Spruce-Fir forest Pit data 0-8 cm new snow: -4 degrees C at 0 cm, Fist hardness, stellar and column crystals. 8-29 cm: Fist to 4 finger hardness, irregular column crystals, -4 degrees C at 25 cm. 29-59 cm: Fist hardness, irregular columns, 0 degrees C at 59 cm. TG snow. Snow Stability: Modified Rutschblock (side cut, top not cut) Failed under jumping all the way to ground. Minor failure at top of TG snow at 29 cm.
