9 May 1999, 10:30 am - 5:00 pm, Snowy Range.  Flagged an extension of
the Potholes Trail from its intersection with the North Fork Trail to
Brooklyn Lake.  The new route, marked with blue flagging, follows a chain
of meadows north and west for a little over half a mile, passing through
several beautiful old-growth stands of Engelmann spruce.  It ends at the
eastern terminus of the Lost Lake Trail.  This new route now makes it
possible to ski an efficient route from Green Rock parking area to Brooklyn
Lake with a minimum of wind and snowmobile interference.
