Sun 30 Apr 00, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Skied the Libby Creek Loop counterclockwise. Scouted the trail for maintenance needs for the coming summer months. There was about 1/2 inch of new snow on top of old, settled, long-ago isothermal snowpack, ranging in depth from 0 to 3 feet. It seemed like we had the forest to ourselves. There were virtually no snowmobilers out (total vehicle count was 13, 3 with trailers), the weather was cloudy and misty, and radio traffic was nonexistent.
