Medicine Bow Nordic Ski Patrol
Patrol Log:  Sunday, February 9, 2003:  J. Hamann
Skied with the Wee Ski, Kid Ski program at the Tie City Trails.  Conditions
for all groups were greatly improved over the previous weekend.  Three to four
inches of new snow had accumulated over the past 24 hours, and the primary trails
were nicely groomed for classic as well as skate techniques.  No major injuries
(one minor bloodied nose), temperatures began to dip steeply at the end of
the program and winds picked up to gusts in the high 20's or 30's.

Tie City parking lot held 35 cars at 1pm, with seven parked across the highway
on the Pole Mountain road.
