WTLE and I headed down Barber Lake Trail &
Road this Saturday, over 18” new snow by noon and I’d guess 30”
for the weekend above 9,000ft. I did not get a chance to count
the trailers along 130, but did run across two other skiers on Barber
Lake Trail. Neither had skins and I imagine there ski back to the
top was extremely exhausting, but I did all the trail breaking, so
hopefully that helped them. I would call the snow medium density
with occasional graupel in the late afternoon. I was very
exhausted after breaking trail for over 3 miles and of course the dog
did her fair share as well.
