Saturday April 30 2011 and Sunday May 1, 2011

Is it spring yet?  NO.   Took off from the cabin late Saturday afternoon and did a quick trip up Old Rainbow Valley Rd to Headquarters Trail up to Barber Lake Rd.  The Headquarters trail has melted off in the meadow, but good coverage in the trees all the way up to the highway.  It appeared that someone had a tracked vehicle in there last week. 

Sunday I had Sharon drop the dog and I off up top.  The snow up top was hard with no found rot and approximately 4” of new.  Made a nice reward for skinning up.  We descended back to the cabin via Barber Lake Trail.  Nice coverage all the way back to the cabin and we had the trail to ourselves all day.
