On Saturday Jan. 2 Chris Laursen skied the top of Centennial ridge to checkout snow conditions and reports: I was able to follow well packed snow machine tracks all the way to the top of the "Question Mark", seeing a couple of snowmobilers along the way. From here I boot packed for a ways south on the ridge. As usual, the top of Centennial Ridge was extremely windblown to bare ground, and large wind scoured pillows were seen at the roll-overs starting the "runs" with some cornices forming. I think that coverage is thin down the "runs" but is skiable. Here's a map showing the route taken, with waypoints at major junctions and paths I looked down.
